Diagnoses describe a local problem before anyone proposes a solution.

There are underused facilities and spaces
Several facilities and courtyards are wasted or closed: the Vil·la Paquita courtyard, the retirees' hall, GIM10 or Serreta park could have far more life and community purpose.

Public space is barely liveable: it lacks shade, light and furniture
More shade is needed to cope with high temperatures, more and better street furniture, lighting in public spaces and covered alternatives for activities when it rains.

There is no overall vision or usage data for the facilities
A systemic view that understands the facilities as a whole and coordinates their management is missing. Data is missing too: there is no analysis of which population, profiles or uses the spaces have to inform decisions.

Opening hours limit the use of public facilities
Some aspects of how the facilities operate, such as their opening hours, limit their use and make it hard for them to become genuinely lively, accessible community spaces.

The kiosks and bars at public facilities are closed
Spaces that used to bring the town to life —the Pompeu Fabra kiosk, the bars at Tèxtil Rase and the sports hall— are closed. There is a feeling they should be brought back for their role as meeting and gathering points.

There is no public summer pool
The existing pool does not meet the need for an open-air municipal pool. It creates inequalities between families and particularly affects young people, who have few places to swim in summer.
